Project Description

Scandinavian Enviro Systems and Antin Infrastructure Partners is to establish the world’s first large-scale recycling group in Europe, supported by Michelin tires. The joint venture targets a 1,000,000 ton annual end-of-life tire recycling capacity by 2030 – around 1/3 of European supply. The first full-scale commercial plant is under construction in Uddevalla, Sweden, with initial capacity to recycle 34,500 tons of disposed tires, equal to 40% of the annual volume of end-of-life-tires in Sweden.

The construction of the first plant at Herøya is ongoing.
Engineering is carried out by Goodtech, a leading supplier of automation and digitalization, while Bilfinger has overall project follow-up and is the client’s representative.

NLI Scope
