Project Description

Gina Krog is an oil and gas field located approximately 30 km north of Sleipner A platform in the Norwegian sector of the North Sea. Produced oil will be intermediately stored at the field in a ship shaped and turret moored floating storage and offloading (FSO) vessel positioned about 2.5 km North East of the Gina Krog platform. The FSO shall be designed for manned operation and shall have an accommodation with associated safety and lifesaving equipment and systems according to the maximum allowable total number of persons to be on board. The FSO and associated systems shall be self-supplied with electrical power. The FSO shall be designed to stay at location during the entire Charter Hire Period, i.e. maximum 15 years.
